ESG

Environmental Responsibility

Fiorde Group, through its ESG department, takes responsibility for contributing to achieving sustainable development goals, the Agenda 2030, an action plan created by the United Nations to promote sustainable development in an inclusive and diverse manner, respecting human rights and the preservation of the environment.

ESG is a term that refers to the application of best practices in environmental, social, and corporate governance that a company can implement in the pursuit of sustainability throughout its business chain.

Electric Truck

Regarding environmental issues, Fiorde Group was a pioneer in incorporating an electric vehicle into its fleet. Its motor is as powerful as diesel engines and has high efficiency and a range of approximately 300 km per charge. As they are powered by electricity, these trucks have a lower impact on the environment, as they do not emit polluting gasses.

Bitrem Trailer

The bitrem trailer is another solution that Fiorde Group brings to the environmental issue. It combines productivity, practicality, and sustainability. By transporting more cargo with a lower gross weight, fuel consumption and, consequently, the emission of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere is reduced.

Diversity and Inclusion Manifesto

Fiorde Group, aligned with the decisions of its ESG department, launched the Diversity and Inclusion Manifesto, an initiative aimed at promoting diversity throughout the value chain and respecting our employees based on a culture of promoting the defense of human rights. We fundamentally affirm our commitment to promoting sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Being ethical means acting and thinking correctly, based on pre-established values accepted by the society in which one operates. A professional needs to be ethical at all times. Therefore, Fiorde Group defines guidelines for a cordial and honest relationship among employees, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders in this Manual.
