Fiorde Group Expands Operations with a New Logistics Complex at GLP Imigrantes

Fiorde Group’s operation is now even more agile, complete, and integrated. This week, we started operating our new structure with 12,000 square meters at the GLP Imigrantes logistics complex in São Bernardo do Campo (SP). With a height of 14.8 meters and structured for pallet rack storage, the new space also features 22 loading/unloading docks, all equipped with leveler ramps, allowing for greater ergonomics and ensuring no damage during movements.

Our structure at the GLP complex serves the entire Fiorde Group’s operation, mainly offering gains and scalability with consolidation and cross-docking operations. It is for this purpose that the complex is strategically located in the ABC region of São Paulo, close to the capital and the road complex that provides access to the largest port in Latin America, in Santos.

COMPREHENSIVE LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS

We are prepared to handle international freight, Import/Export Clearance, Loading operations within the plant, Intercompany operations, Inbound, General Warehousing services, and Quality Control (inspection and sample withdrawal).

Fiorde Group’s technology runs from end to end. We use SAP® solution for TMS and WMS in all FTA operations, as well as state-of-the-art and quality forklifts (optimizing operations and mitigating damage risks) and automatic barcode inventory counting.

Our scope includes an integrated logistics chain, with maritime, air, and road modalities, handling import and export operations that ensure last-mile delivery to productive plants or distribution centers.

For smaller loads, Fiorde also, with an eye on better environmental balance, has acquired electric vehicles for distribution and collection in urban centers.
